Alastair Dorward

Alastair Dorward has a strong and diverse work experience in various leadership roles. Alastair is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Dropps™ since 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Brand Officer at Amyris from 2021 to 2022. From 2019 to 2022, Alastair held the position of President at OLIKA. Additionally, they worked as a Board Advisor at Enviroscent from 2011 to 2020. Alastair's past roles also include being the President at Smitten Ice Cream from 2018 to 2019, the CEO at Yummy Spoonfuls™ Organic Kids Food from 2016 to 2018, the General Manager at Home Consignment Center from 2013 to 2016, and the Founder & CEO at Own Products from 2009 to 2012. Alastair also served as the Founding CEO at method products inc. from 2000 to 2008 and as the Founder & CEO at Covent Garden Soup from 1996 to 2000. Throughout their career, Alastair has demonstrated a talent for driving growth, developing successful brands, and establishing strong business partnerships.

Alastair Dorward completed their high school education at The Edinburgh Academy, where they attended from 1973 to 1986. Alastair then pursued further studies at the University of Oxford from 1987 to 1990, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics, Philosophy & Economics. Later, in 1993 and 1994, Alastair attended INSEAD to obtain a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
