Austin Ellis has worked in business development and litigation assistance roles since 2016. From 2016 to 2018, they were a Litigation Assistant at Levin Papantonio, where they were responsible for legal research on Westlaw and Pacer, drafting pleadings, summarizing plaintiff fact sheets and expert witness depositions, initial potential client contacts, potential client interviews, following up with potential clients, case evaluation, corresponding with opposing counsel, handling invoice payment, drafting discovery requests, preparing exhibits for trial, evaluating medical records, constantly working with difficult clients, completing complex questionnaires with clients, evaluating cases for file or close decision, scheduling conference calls with multiple parties, and managing over 300 cases at the same time.
