Usama Fayyad is a world-renowned data scientist and executive who has devoted their career to improving the way organizations use data. Usama is currently an advisor at Drover AI, a startup that is working to bring AI to the automotive industry. Prior to their current role, Fayyad served as the interim CTO of Stella.ai, a startup that uses AI to match job candidates with open positions. Usama also spent time as a member of the Board Advisory Committee on IT & Resilience at Nationwide Building Society, where they worked with the board and executive team on strategic projects involving data science, big data, and IT/resilience. Fayyad has also held positions at Northeastern University and IADSS.

Usama Fayyad received their Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering from the University of Michigan. Usama also holds a B.S.E. in Computer Engineering and a B.S.E. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan. In addition, they have a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Machine Learning, AI, CSE from the University of Michigan, an M.Sc. in Mathematics from the University of Michigan, and an M.S.E. in Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan. Usama also has a British GCE - High School from National Orthodox School and is certified by the National Society of Professional Engineers as a Professional Engineer (PE).
