Jason Cockburn

Jason Cockburn has extensive experience in law enforcement, serving as a Detective Constable and Emergency Measures Officer with the Durham Regional Police Service since January 2021. Additionally, Jason has been a Head Instructor at Policetesting.ca since September 1998, where training is provided for police applicants in Ontario. Prior roles include serving as a Police Constable with Durham Regional Police, where involvement included the Canine Unit and Public Order Unit, and earlier frontline duties with Toronto Police Service. Jason has a background in campus safety and security at York University and volunteered as a Canine Handler with the Ontario Volunteer Emergency Response Team. Educational qualifications include a Law Enforcement diploma from Seneca Polytechnic and attendance at Georgian College.
