David Glowka has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and organizations. David began their career in 2000 as a Research Assistant for the Office of District One Boston City Councilor Paul J. Scapicchio. In 2001, they joined Community Servings as a Grants Coordinator, where they worked until 2003. During their time at Community Servings, they were responsible for coordinating grants. In 2003, David joined the Drug Policy Alliance and held multiple positions within the organization. David started as a Grant Writer and worked in this role until 2008. From 2008 to 2013, they served as the Manager of Foundation Relations. In 2013, they were promoted to Deputy Director, Development, and eventually became the Director of Development in 2016. Throughout their tenure at the Drug Policy Alliance, David played a crucial role in the organization's development efforts and securing funding from various foundations.
David Glowka attended Northeastern University from 1996 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Services and Social Policy.
