Mike Wilson

Michael Wilson is a seasoned professional in the field of bioinformatics and biotechnology, serving as the CEO and Co-Founder of DrugBank since December 2015. With a strong background in scientific research, Michael worked as a Bioinformatic Systems Analyst at The Metabolomics Innovation Centre from May 2012 to October 2015, where responsibilities included developing algorithms and creating web applications. Prior to that, Michael contributed to the University of Alberta as a Research Assistant in the Wishart Lab, focusing on a biomarker database and participating in innovative projects like Team Genomikon for the International Genetically Engineered Machines competition. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological and Computer Sciences from the University of Alberta, obtained in 2012.
