Kris Anderson

Trustee at Drury University

Kris Anderson is returning to the Drury University Board of Trustees, having previously served from 1993 - 1997. Kris is a retired construction executive after 33 years with St. Louis based McCarthy Building Companies, one of America's largest diversified contractors. As a significant shareholder with McCarthy, a 150-year old employee owned firm, he did business throughout the world and was an integral component of the company’s growth into major new markets.

He currently has a design/build/development consulting business, Anderson Associates II, with clients throughout the nation. He also serves on several nonprofit boards in St. Louis. Kris earned a B.S. in Economics and Political Science from Drury in 1977 and an MBA from Washington University's Olin School in St. Louis in 1980. He has two grown children, Dane and Kelsey, and lives in Frontenac, Missouri with his wife, Beth ’78. Kris was born in Canada and lived in Salem, Missouri before attending Drury.
