Thomas G. Prater

Thomas G. Prater, MD, FACS, has been in practice in Springfield since 1987. He currently practices at Mattax-Neu-Prater Eye Center in Springfield. Dr. Prater holds memberships in the Greene County Medical Society, the Missouri State Medical Association, the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons. He served as President of the Springfield Board of Education and President of the Community Foundation of the Ozarks. He recently served on the City Council of Springfield, Missouri.

Dr. Prater and his wife, Kimberley Alexander Prater, M.D., have two children, Alexandra and Bronwyn.
