James Lee is an experienced energy operations professional currently serving as the Energy Operations Manager for EMEA at DRW since January 2024. Prior to this role, James held several key positions at GSR, including Director, Head of Europe & Asia Operations, and Vice President, Trading Operations from June 2021 to December 2023. At Mercuria Energy Trading S.A., James was the Head of Financial Operations for the UK and held various roles including Settlements and Collateral Manager from June 2017 to June 2021. Before that, James worked at Citi as an AVP in Commodities Operations from May 2015 to June 2017, and at Morgan Stanley from December 2009 to May 2015, where the role transitioned from Analyst to Associate and finally to Director / AVP in Commodities Operations. James holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) Hons degree in Economics from The University of Manchester.
