Jared Simpson

Jared Simpson is a Quantitative Trading Analyst at DRW, having transitioned to this role in July 2023 after previously serving as a General Partner at Short-Term Capital Management from March 2020 to June 2023, where co-founding and managing a student-run investment club at Harvard took place. Prior experience includes an internship as a Quantitative Trading Analyst at DRW in summer 2022, a Software Engineer and Software Engineer Intern at Gant Travel from June 2020 to August 2021, and an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Harvard Business School, working on technology diffusion and labor markets under Dr. Josh Lerner. Earlier roles include Assistant Head Swim Coach at the White Eagle Swim Team and management positions at Clear Water Pools LLC. Jared holds a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Mathematics with Economics from Harvard University, completed in 2023, and graduated from Waubonsie Valley High School in 2018.
