Alex Cook

Alex Cook has a wide range of work experience in the food and beverage industry. In 2020, they began working at Dry Farm Wines as a Wine Content Lead and Wine Buyer. Alex'sduties include writing copy for marketing emails, landing pages, and print publications, as well as label compliance and customs clearance. In 2019, they worked as the Wine Manager at Freemans Restaurant, where they promoted wine and beverage sales, managed inventory, and negotiated prices with distributors. Alex also worked as a Beverage Coordinator at ABC Restaurants and as a Floor Manager at ABC Cocina, abcV. In 2018, they worked as a Server at ilili Restaurant. From 2016 to 2018, they worked at Metabrew as a Partner and Content Maven, where they built a recognizable brand identity, worked with health and wellness influencers, and coordinated giveaways. In 2016, they worked as a Manager at L'Antagoniste and as a Server at NoMo SoHo. In 2015, they worked as a Content Associate at The Rainforest Inn and as a Bartender at Ted's Bulletin.

Alex Cook attended William & Mary from 2010 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English. Alex also obtained a BarSmarts certification from Pernod Ricard in December 2015.
