Andreas Wielandt

Andreas Wielandt has extensive work experience in the shipping industry. Andreas began their career at Maersk Broker, where they worked as a Ship Broker from July 2009 to April 2014. Andreas then joined J. Lauritzen A/S as an Assistant Sale & Purchase / Chartering Manager from May 2014 to February 2015. Andreas later became a Sale & Purchase / Chartering Manager, specializing in the procurement of tonnage for Lauritzen Bulkers, from May 2014 to December 2018.

In 2019, Andreas moved on to DS NORDEN, where they started as a Portfolio Manager from January 2019 to February 2021, and then advanced to Senior Portfolio Manager from March 2021 to the present. In their current role, they actively manage NORDEN's portfolio of dry cargo ships, involving sale and purchase, long-term chartering, and newbuildings, to maximize returns on risk capital. Andreas is responsible for managing a fleet of around 70 dry cargo ships and strategically adjusting the composition between owned and chartered vessels.

Andreas Wielandt completed their Graduate Diploma in Finance in Business Administration at Copenhagen Business School from 2014 to 2018. In addition, they obtained several certifications from Lloyd's Maritime Academy, including a Certificate in Sale & Purchase in April 2011, a Certificate in Newbuildings in September 2010, a Certificate in Chartering in April 2010, and a Certificate in Shipping in September 2009.
