Senior Finance Specialist, Corp. Fin. at NORDEN

Christian Danmark has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Christian started their career in 1985 as an Auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Copenhagen, where they worked until 1992. From 1993 to 1995, they worked as an Auditor/Manager (expat) at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Greenland. Following this, they joined Nordania Leasing Bankaktieselskab as Head of Accounting from 1995 to 1996.

In 1996, Christian returned to PricewaterhouseCoopers in Copenhagen, where they worked as an Auditor/Manager until 1999. Christian then moved on to Canon Danmark A/S, serving as a Finance Manager from 1999 to 2000.

Christian's next role took him to ADC (Denmark) Aps, where they held the positions of Head of Accounting from March 2000 to September 2000, and then CFO from September 2000 to November 2001.

Afterward, Christian joined Ibsen Photonics A/S as CFO and co-founder from August 2001 to March 2003. During their time there, they played an instrumental role in the successful management buyout (MBO) of the company, raising capital from two private equity funds and implementing a new ERP system.

Since May 2006, Christian has been with Dampskibsselskabet NORDEN A/S, where they initially served as Head of Accounting until May 2006. Christian was then promoted to Vice President of Finance, where they were responsible for accounting, reporting, financial controlling, tax reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. Christian also shared responsibilities for financial risk management and aligning finance strategy with the company's overall strategy. Finally, Christian currently holds the position of Senior Finance Specialist, Corp. Fin., where they continue to contribute their expertise in finance.

Christian Danmark completed their education with a GradDipBA degree in Finance and Economics from Copenhagen Business School between 1985 and 1989. Later, they pursued an Executive MBA from Henley Business School specializing in Enterprise Risk Management, which they successfully completed from 2005 to 2009.
