Sanctions Risk Analyst at NORDEN

Tamar Kvartskhava has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as a Sanctions Risk Analyst in DS NORDEN. Tamar previously worked at FLSmidth as a Student Assistant in Group Compliance, where they focused on code of conduct, human rights, and compliance. Before that, they were a Research Assistant at Leipzig University and an Intern at the U.S. Embassy in Georgia, where they gained experience in security programs and coordination. Prior to that, they worked as an Administrative Manager at Hostel NOMAD and as a Teaching Assistant at the American Councils for International Education.

Tamar Kvartskhava began their education in 2015 at Tbilisi State University, where they completed their Bachelor of Social Sciences in Sociology from the Faculty of Social and Political Science in 2020. In 2017, they participated in the Tbilisi State University Bilateral Agreement Exchange Program at the University of Tartu, where they studied Social Sciences and Scandinavian Languages.

In 2018, Tamar took part in an Erasmus+ Mobility Semester at Turun yliopisto - University of Turku, focusing on Social Sciences and Finnish Language and Literature. The following year, in 2019, they attended Billströmska Folkhögskola for a short period of time, specializing in Swedish Language and Culture.

Continuing their education, Tamar pursued a Master's degree in International/Global Studies at Leipzig University from 2020 to 2022. Tamar then furthered their studies at Roskilde University, obtaining a Master of Science (MSc) in Social Sciences in Global Studies in 2022.
