Leonardo Matteucci

Leonardo Matteucci is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in operations, procurement, and logistics. Currently serving as the Managing Director for the South Italy Cluster at DS Smith since April 2013, Leonardo oversees full P&L responsibilities for six sites generating over €250 million in revenue and employing more than 500 individuals. Prior to this role, Leonardo held several positions at DS Smith, including Operations and Procurement Director for the Italy Region, where responsibilities included driving reorganization and managing procurement across 16 plants. Leonardo's previous experience includes significant roles at Vestas as Logistics Category Manager and GE Oil & Gas as Global Logistics Initiative Leader, where key achievements involved designing global logistics strategies and managing large-scale logistics initiatives. Educational credentials comprise a Global Leadership Programme from Saïd Business School, an Executive Master in Business Administration from Bologna Business School, and a degree from Università degli Studi di Firenze.
