Marcello Pezzi

Marcello Pezzi is an experienced professional in product safety and risk management, currently serving as Product Safety Director at DS Smith since 2012, following a tenure as Product Safety Manager. Prior to this role, Marcello held various positions at Warburtons from June 2007 to November 2012, including Risk Assurance Manager, Site Health & Safety Manager, and Technical Risk Manager. Earlier in the career, Marcello worked at HJ Heinz from 1999 to 2007, where responsibilities included Site Technical/Quality Manager, Quality Improvement Manager, and Microbiological and Sensory Laboratories Manager. Marcello holds a Master of Science degree in Biological Sciences - Biochemistry from the University of Rome Tor Vergata, completed between 1994 and 1999.
