Michael Vandergriff is a seasoned professional in talent development with extensive experience across various industries. Currently serving as the Director of Talent Development for North America at DS Smith since December 2019, Michael leads a range of talent initiatives to enhance employee engagement and collaborates with the Global Organization to strengthen talent management strategies. Prior to this role, Michael was a Talent Management Consultant at Talent Resources Consulting, where programs for senior leadership were developed. At Novelis, Michael managed global leadership and professional development programs while focusing on succession planning and talent retention from 2011 to 2018. Earlier experience includes serving as the Training Development Manager at Silverton Bank, overseeing various talent management functions. Michael holds a BS in Transportation Logistics and a Master’s in Technical & Adult Education from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
