Thomas van Kerkhoven

Thomas Van Kerkhoven has a diverse work experience, starting in 2010 as a Management Trainee at ORMIT, where they gained project management skills across various companies. Thomas then worked as a Logistics Project Manager and Six Sigma Black Belt at DuPont from 2011 to 2014. Following that, they served as a Customer Service Team Lead at Cargill from 2015 to 2017. Thomas then joined Deloitte Belgium as a Senior Manager in the Monitor Deloitte division, specializing in strategy consulting for clients in different industries. In 2022, they became a Business Development Manager at Verhaert Masters in Innovation, where they focused on sales and innovation advisory services. Currently, Thomas is the Strategy Delivery Lead for Benelux at DS Smith, responsible for growth strategy development, project delivery, and coordination of the project portfolio. Thomas also serves as Chief of Staff within the management team.

Thomas Van Kerkhoven completed their education with a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Antwerp in 2009. During their studies, they also spent a year as an Erasmus student at the University of Montpellier. In 2010, they obtained a Master 2 degree in Stratégies Economiques du Sport et du Tourisme from Université Pierre-Mendès France Grenoble. Prior to their university education, they attended Sint-Gabriëlcollege, where they studied Latin and Maths from 1998 to 2004. In terms of additional certifications, Thomas received a Six Sigma Black Belt from DuPont in 2014, became a Professional Scrum Master 1 certified by Scrum.org in 2018, and completed the Strategy 101 201 301 - Superior Strategic Thinking course by Fred Pelard in 2020.
