Christoph Wortmann

Christoph Wortmann is an experienced sports management professional currently serving as Geschäftsführer at DSC Arminia Bielefeld since January 2023. Previously, Wortmann held several roles at VfL Bochum 1848 GmbH & Co. KGaA from January 2018 to December 2022, including Mitglied der Geschäftsleitung, Prokurist, and Direktor Marketing/Vertrieb. Prior to that, Wortmann worked at Lagardère Sports as Senior Director for Team Bayer Leverkusen and Senior Director of International Sales for Borussia Dortmund. Wortmann's career began at Sportfive GmbH, where significant positions included Director of Sales for both Borussia Dortmund and 1. FC Kaiserslautern, as well as an internship and a role as a Werkstudent at 3M. Wortmann holds a Diplom in Sportwissenschaftler/Sportökonom from Ruhr-Universität Bochum, achieved between 1997 and 2004.
