Andres Valdivieso

Based in Quito, Ecuador, Andrés has been actively involved in the printing industry since 1995, when he joined Imprenta Mariscal as Chief Operating Officer. Andrés was responsible for leading the company's effort to become the largest commercial and publication printer in Ecuador. In 2013, Andrés began the transformation of the company that has become the leader in the labels and packaging segment, disrupting the market using HP Indigo technology.

In 2011, Andrés was the recipient of the Printing Association of Florida Graphic Arts Leaders of the Americas Young Entrepreneur Award. In October 2019, HP Indigo recognized Imprenta Mariscal as leading the digital transformation of label production in the region. He earned his MBA from IDE Business School and his BS in Printing Management and Color Reproduction from RIT.

Andrés is passionate about continuous improvement, and is constantly traveling and sharing experiences with innovative printers and suppliers around the world.
