Hugo Pineda

Hugo Pineda is a seasoned business development and general manager with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as the BD & General Manager for DSI FZE in Mexico since February 2019, Hugo leads efforts to deliver downhole circulation solutions. Prior to this role, Hugo worked as an independent consultant and held various positions at Halliburton from January 2006 to January 2019, including Business Development Manager and Senior Account Representative, focusing on directional drilling and managed pressure drilling services for both onshore and offshore markets in Mexico. Earlier experience includes a senior materials management role at Volkswagen de Mexico from 2000 to 2005, where accountability for managing electric and electronic components was key to the production of vehicle models. Hugo holds a degree from Universidad de las Américas Puebla and additional certification in Logging While Drilling from Halliburton.
