John Rankin

John Rankin, PE, is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in instrumentation and controls. Currently serving as the VP of Projects & Services at DSI Innovations LLC since January 2019, John is focused on advancing the company's presence in the Raleigh, NC area within the industrial manufacturing domain. Prior to this role, John managed the Instrumentation & Controls Department at ITAC from 2011 to 2019, contributing to company strategy and employee development as a member of the Senior Leadership Team. Earlier experience includes serving as the Branch Engineering Manager at Avid Solutions, where John established a successful branch in Raleigh, and positions at Quality Manufacturing Company and Salmon & Associates that provided foundational expertise in electrical engineering and control systems. John holds an MBA from Wake Forest University and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech.
