Desislava Ignatova

Desislava Ignatova has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Desislava began their career at Language School BLIG in 2002, where they worked as an English Teacher until 2004. Desislava then joined MKB Unionbank as a Corporate Loan Expert, responsible for finding new corporate clients and conducting credit and financial analysis of companies. In 2006, Desislava joined DSK Bank as a Senior Expert in the Approval Section, and eventually became the Head of Approval Section in 2008. Most recently, they held the position of Head of Policy and Methodology Department at DSK Bank from July 2016 onwards.

Desislava Ignatova obtained their Economist-accountant qualification in the field of Banking, insurance, and security deals from the National Financial-Economic High School in Sofia. Desislava then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Finance at the University of National and World Economy in Sofia from 2000 to 2004. Later, they attended the University of Veliko Tarnovo "St.St. Kiril and Metodii" and the Institute of Economics of BAS, Sofia, where they obtained a Master's degree in Corporate Finance from 2005 to 2006.
