Habiba Chekatt

Habiba Chekatt has extensive work experience in the regulatory affairs and quality management field. Habiba started their career as an Associate Scientist in the Crop Protection Chemistry Research Department at SYNGENTA Ltd in 2000. From there, they moved on to work as an Associate Research Scientist in Molecular Biology at Roche Vitamins AG. In 2005, they joined DSM Nutritional Products as a Regulatory Affairs Manager, where they worked until 2012. During their time at DSM, they held various roles including Global Product Quality Manager and Internal Halal Audit Coordinator, Global Halal & Kosher Assurance Manager, and Global Manager Regulatory Affairs and Quality Management for Carotenoids. In 2014, they became a Team Lead of Regulatory Affairs and Quality for Carotenoids at DSM Nutritional Products. Most recently, in 2023, Habiba Chekatt joined dsm-firmenich as a Senior Global Regulatory Affairs and Quality Manager and Team Lead for Carotenoids. In this role, they oversee the regulatory and quality aspects of Carotenoids products used in human and animal nutrition.

Habiba Chekatt earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Université Louis Pasteur (Strasbourg I) in 1996. Habiba then pursued a Master's degree in Biochemistry at the same institution from 1995 to 2000. Additionally, they obtained an Advanced Master's degree in Biology and Chemistry Analysis, majoring in Biotechnology, from Université Louis Pasteur (Faculté de CHIMIE) in 2000.
