Renger Jellema

Renger Jellema is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in analytical sciences and data science, currently serving as Associate Principal Scientist at dsm-firmenich since May 2023, and as Program Manager at AI4b.io since September 2021, where the focus is on applying artificial intelligence in biomanufacturing. Previously, Renger held multiple senior roles at DSM, including Senior Scientist and Group Lead for Bioinformatics in the DBC Genetics Department, contributing to projects involving data science, machine learning, and digital transformation. Renger also has experience as Theme Leader for Bio Statistics at the Netherlands Metabolomics Centre, and has engaged in various roles in applied statistics and research at TNO Quality of Life and other organizations. Renger holds a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Amsterdam, an MSc from Radboud University, and a BSc in Analytical Chemistry from Hanze.
