Crystal Chen has a diverse work experience, beginning with an Undergraduate Research Assistant role at the University of Michigan in 2013. In 2014, they were an Intern at Joyworks, LLC., where they poured ductile iron, bronze, and cast iron, managed the pouring schedule, and cleaned castings. In 2012, they were an On Campus Representative for Rent The Runway, where they organized fashion shows and promotional events, collaborated with on campus organizations to plan charity events, and coordinated a team to achieve monthly sales targets. In 2015, they were an Associate Sales at Kautex Textron, where they were responsible for account/contract management, tracked contracted money and external negotiations with various OEMs, and created documentation for offer preparation, contract and price negotiations. Finally, from 2017 to 2021, they were a Technical Program Manager, Customer Engineering Manager, and Project Manager at HARMAN International, where they managed audio system program teams, ensured prompt decision making in leading program teams to successful launches, established and managed program budget, and defined tasks to be performed by cross functional team members.

Crystal Chen is currently pursuing an Executive MBA at Vanderbilt University - Owen Graduate School of Management, which is expected to be completed in 2022. Crystal previously obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Materials Science Engineering from the University of Michigan between 2011 and 2015.
