Hangsuk (Michael) Choi has over 20 years of work experience in product development engineering and firmware engineering. Hangsuk (Michael) started their career in 1995 as a DSP Software Engineer at Octel Communications Corporation. In 1997, they moved to MedianiX Semiconductor, Inc. as a Senior DSP Firmware Engineer. In 1999, they joined Centillium Communications as a Staff DSP Software Engineer. In 2006, they joined PLX Technology (through the aquisition of Teranetics on October, 2010) as a DSP FW Lead/Principal DSP FW Engineer. In 2012, they moved to Aquantia (through the aquisition of PLX 10G PHY division) as a Principal Design Engineer. In 2013, they joined QLogic as a Principal Firmware Engineer. In 2015, they moved to Logitech as a Principal Firmware Engineer (Ultimate Ears Music Dept.). Finally, in 2018, they joined DSP Concepts as a Sr. Manager, Product Development Engineering.
Hangsuk (Michael) Choi received their BS with Honors in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Davis between 1988 and 1993. Hangsuk (Michael) then went on to receive their MS in Electrical Engineering from the same university between 1993 and 1995.
