Sorbo Bagchi

Sorbo Bagchi has extensive work experience in software engineering and development roles. Sorbo started their career at UshaComm as a Junior Developer, where they worked on a Telecom Prepaid Card Solution. Sorbo then joined ServiceSPAN as a Senior Developer, where they were part of a team developing a Workflow Management System for a major telecom company. Sorbo then moved to Travelocity, where they worked as a Senior Developer and later as a Tech Team Lead, focusing on caching strategies and reducing latency in flight shopping platforms. Sorbo then joined ideeli as a Senior Technical Member, contributing to the Data Services Team. Sorbo also worked at Routehappy as a Lead Developer, where they played a crucial role in building the company's flight search engine from scratch. Currently, Sorbo is working at Dstillery, starting as a Lead Software Engineer and later becoming the Director of Software Engineering. At Dstillery, they work on Java applications with low latency and concurrency.

Sorbo Bagchi earned a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Calcutta. Later, from 1993 to 1995, Sorbo pursued an MSc in Applied Mathematics at Jadavpur University.
