Achim Martinka currently serves as Vice President Global Airfreight - Commercial & Sustainability at DSV – Global Transport and Logistics, a position held since November 2023. Prior to this role, Achim spent over 23 years at Lufthansa Cargo, where multiple leadership positions were held, including Vice President for Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and KAM EMEA, as well as overseeing various global accounts and regional operations in Europe and The Americas. Achim began their career at DECATHLON FRANCE, advancing from store management to Regional Director for Germany West. Educational credentials include a Diplom-Betriebswirt FH from Université franco-allemande and a qualification for international studies in Business Administration from Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft des Saarlandes.
