Lauren Rushton

Director, Conflict Prevention, Stabilization & Transition at DT Global

Lauren Rushton is a Director for DT Global’s Conflict Prevention, Stabilization & Transition (CPST) practice area currently overseeing the company’s Somalia portfolio, which consists of the $47 million USAID/Somalia’s Transition Initiative Saddex (TIS3) program and the $65 million Inclusive Resilience in Somalia (IRiS) program. She is responsible for ensuring the timely and effective management and implementation of these programs, overseeing project financial management and compliance, and working closely with the programs’ Chiefs of Party. She also supports DT Global’s growth and innovation through business development and thought leadership initiatives for the company.

Ms. Rushton is also an experienced technical and operational manager in the field, previously supporting the USAID/Egypt funded Effective Planning and Services Project (EPSP) as the Crosscutting Team Lead based in Cairo. Ms. Rushton’s work has focused on fragile and transitioning countries, particularly with challenges related to conflict and peacebuilding, stabilization, violent extremism, youth engagement, civil society strengthening, and governance capacity building. Ms. Rushton has worked on other USAID, Office of Transition Initiatives (OTI) and Department of State funded programs in Yemen, Chad, Mali, South Sudan, Sudan, Botswana, and Sri Lanka.
