Paul Hawthorne

Paul Hawthorne is an experienced executive in the rail industry, currently serving as Executive General Manager Rail at DT Infrastructure since November 2025. Previously, Paul held positions including Project Director - Rail at Laing O'Rourke, Rail Systems Director at UGL, and General Manager - Rail Engineering at Rio Tinto, where leadership encompassed Rail Engineering, Systems and Technical Assurance, and Asset Management. Additional roles include Head of Infrastructure Maintenance at High Speed Two (HS2) Ltd and Joint Venture Director at SB Rail, complemented by a senior project manager role at SWIETELSKY CONSTRUCTION COMPANY LTD.
