Derek Armstrong is currently the Strategic and Advisory Partner at DTE Business Advisers Ltd. Prior to this, Derek was a General Practice Partner at Jackson Stephen LLP and served as the Xero Executive Sponsor and Business Outsourcing Partner. Before that, Derek worked as an Audit & Accounts Manager at Cowgill Holloway LLP and also gained experience as an Audit & Accounts Senior at Campbell Dallas. Derek began their accountancy career as an Accounts Trainee at Campbell Dallas and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Glasgow Caledonian University, as well as an HND in Accounting from Bell College. Derek's educational background includes 7 Standard Grades and 4 Higher Grades in Mathematics, English, Accounting, and Economics from Caldervale High School.
