Dan Brown

Dan Brown is currently serving as a Customer Experience Billing Co-Op Student at DTE Energy since January 2024 and holds the position of Vice President for the University of Michigan's NAACP Chapter since July 2023. As a business owner of DMB Customs LLC since April 2020, Dan creates custom designs for apparel, manages customer transactions, and provides exemplary customer service. Previous experience includes roles as an Academic Success Programming Chair at Color Coded UM, an Information Technology Power Supply Summer Intern at DTE Energy, a cashier at Cafe 32, and a merchandise associate at Marshalls Convenience Stores, where responsibilities included managing transactions and maintaining a clean working environment. Dan also participated as a summer intern with Grow Detroit Young Talent in 2020, gaining exposure to various job positions and engaging in team-building activities. Dan is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Operations Engineering at the University of Michigan, expected to graduate in May 2025, following completion of education at Cass Technical High School.
