Daniel O'Brien

Daniel O'Brien is a seasoned telecommunications professional with over 40 years of experience in the industry. Currently serving as a Senior Network Engineer at DTE Energy since August 2011, Daniel is responsible for developing technical designs and managing projects related to the Enterprise Wireless Telecommunications Network. Previous roles include Telecommunications Engineer at Borders Group, where key achievements included managing the installation of numerous T1/DSL circuits for free WiFi service across Borders Superstores, and Project Manager at RN Communications, focusing on infrastructure cabling and project coordination. Daniel's earlier career also involved managing technical personnel at TIE Communications and working as a Service Technician at United Technologies Communications. Daniel holds degrees in Network Technology from Washtenaw Community College and Electronics Engineering Technologies from RETS Electronics School.
