David Moran

David Moran, CCM, is an experienced meteorologist with a robust background in weather risk analysis and consulting. Currently serving as a Weather Risk Analyst and CCM Specialist at DTN since March 2019, David also runs a consulting practice as a Certified Consulting Meteorologist since January 2017, focusing on reports for weather-related court cases. Prior experience includes roles at Weather Decision Technologies and iWeatherNet, where David produced daily forecast blogs and analyzed weather patterns, enhancing client engagement through mobile applications. David's early career includes serving as Chief Meteorologist at the Oklahoma Internet Weather Center, as well as internships at the National Severe Storm Lab, where data analysis and radar processing were key responsibilities. David holds dual degrees in Meteorology and Mathematics from the University of Oklahoma.
