Heine Hansen

Heine Hansen is an Associate Professor and Researcher at DTU - Technical University of Denmark since December 2013, specializing in density functional theory studies of electrochemical energy storage and conversion. Prior experience includes a postdoctoral position at Stanford University from September 2011 to December 2013, focusing on computational modeling of electrochemical reactions, and another postdoctoral role at Northwestern University from October 2009 to September 2011, centered on computational modeling of solar thermal fuel production. Heine Hansen began an academic career as a Ph.D. student at the Technical University of Denmark from 2006 to 2009, conducting density functional theory studies of electrochemical processes. Heine Hansen holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Engineering Physics from the same institution, earned between 2001 and 2009.
