Michele Tunzi

Michele Tunzi is an Associate Professor at the Technical University of Denmark, specializing in 4th Generation District Heating and renewable energy integration. With a focus on digitalization in heating and cooling systems, Michele's research encompasses low-temperature operations to ensure comfort and hygiene, as well as developing innovative district heating and cooling concepts for urban areas. Prior experience includes roles as a Research Associate at Loughborough University and the University of Nottingham, where Michele worked on smart heat and power networks, and project management in energy systems. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Sustainable Energy Engineering and Environmental Engineering from the University of Nottingham and Università di Pavia, respectively.
