Nicholas Hansen is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at DTU - Technical University of Denmark since May 2023, following a tenure as a Visiting Researcher at Stanford University where research focused on enhancing marine autonomy safety and decision transparency. Previous roles include Development Engineer at Rokoko, specializing in IMU sensor calibration algorithms and quality assurance, and Research and Development Engineer at Propeller Control ApS, aiming to reduce fuel consumption for container vessels. Nicholas also worked as a Research Assistant at DTU, interned with Atlas Maridan on Autonomous Underwater Vehicle development, taught robotics to middle school students with special needs, and held a summer internship at Merck Serono.
