Philip Bille

Philip Bille is a seasoned academic and educator currently serving as Head of Section and holding the titles of Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor at DTU - Technical University of Denmark since February 2009. Bille has a rich background in research and teaching, including roles as a Postdoctoral Researcher at IT University of Copenhagen and Lund University. Additionally, Bille is the Founder of Hello World, an initiative focused on innovative teaching methods for children in programming and computational thinking, which operated from January 2017 to July 2020. Bille completed a Cand. it. degree at IT-Universitetet i København and a BSc in Computer Science from Københavns Universitet. Previous educational experiences include instruction as a Teaching Assistant across various computer science courses during the PhD studies at IT University and University of Copenhagen.
