Philipp Haselbach currently serves as an Associate Professor at DTU - Technical University of Denmark since March 2022, following a tenure as a Researcher at DTU Wind Energy from August 2017 to March 2022 and as a Postdoctoral Researcher from February 2012 to July 2017. Philipp Haselbach completed a PhD project focused on the ultimate strength of wind turbine blades under multiaxial loading, examining failure types and developing predictive methodologies. Academic involvement also includes roles as a Research Assistant in offshore projects and support structures, along with a Visiting Researcher position at Knowledge Centre WMC. Early career experiences include a trainee role at Risø National Laboratory for Sustainable Energy and part-time work as a paramedic and first-aid instructor with the German Red Cross. Philipp Haselbach holds a Dipl.-Ing. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bremen, obtained from 2005 to 2012.
