Thor Dahle

Thor Dahle is an Associate Professor at Minnesota State University, Mankato, having transitioned from the role of Assistant Professor in the Law Enforcement Department from July 2016 to June 2023. Prior to this, Thor served as an Instructor at North Dakota State University from August 2011 to July 2016, teaching various subjects including Criminal Law and Procedure, Introduction to Policing, and Criminology. Thor's extensive professional background includes serving as Police Chief and Emergency Manager for Lebanon Police Department from May 1987 to July 2011, along with a prior role as Captain overseeing the Support Division. Thor holds a Ph.D. in Criminal Justice from North Dakota State University and a Master's degree in Public Administration from Minnesota State University Moorhead.
