Rucha Deshpande

Rucha Deshpande is a Postdoctoral Researcher at DTU - Technical University of Denmark, with previous experience as a PhD Student at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Southern Denmark, where research focused on multipurpose plasmonic metasurfaces. Rucha has also served as a Research Assistant, gaining expertise in Electron Beam Lithography and the fabrication of 2D gap-plasmon based metasurfaces, alongside far-field optical characterization and imaging techniques. As a PhD Exchange Student at Purdue University, Rucha broadened the research experience, while earlier roles included a Junior Research Fellow at the Laser Lab, School of Physics, working on "Green Photonics using Semiconductor Nanostructures." Rucha's academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Nano Optics and a Master's Degree in Physics from the Faculty of Engineering, University of Southern Denmark, and Fergusson College, respectively, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics and associated fields.
