Serena Faccio

Serena Faccio is an experienced legal professional specializing in information security, data protection, and intellectual property law. Currently serving as the Information Security Team Leader and Personal Data Coordinator at the Technical University of Denmark since August 2020, Serena also holds the role of Senior Legal Advisor in the Legal & Technology Transfer office, where responsibilities include drafting and negotiating research agreements and ensuring compliance with data protection regulations. Prior to this, Serena worked at NJORD Law Firm as a Legal Adviser in the Intellectual Property Department and has a diverse background that includes roles as a legal consultant, attorney at law, and web editor. Educational qualifications include a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Copenhagen and ongoing studies in data protection at Aalborg University, complemented by a solid foundation in law from the Università degli Studi di Padova.
