Tejs Vegge

Tejs Vegge is an accomplished academic and leader in materials discovery, currently serving as Director of CAPeX, a prominent Pioneer Center for Accelerating P2X Materials Discovery, since May 2023. This center is supported by various prestigious foundations and collaborates with top institutions, including DTU and Aalborg University. As Co-Founder of PhaseTree, a cloud-based materials simulation platform launched in March 2021, Vegge contributes to innovative technologies for materials research. With a long-standing career at the Technical University of Denmark, Vegge holds the position of Professor and Head of Section. Previous roles include visiting professorships at Stanford University and Technical University Munich, alongside leadership positions at Risø National Laboratory. Vegge's academic journey culminated in a Ph.D. in Physics from DTU, supplemented by leadership and research management training.
