Michael Nelson

Michael Nelson has over 28 years of work experience. Michael began their career in 1991 as a Research Associate at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies. In 2009, they joined Genentech as a Research Associate, where they managed and conducted mouse IVF and Cryopreservation projects, as well as daily harvesting of tissue, embryo manipulation, and transfer surgeries. In 2012, they moved to Regulus Therapeutics as a Senior Research Associate. In 2018, they joined Organovo Holdings, Inc. as a Preclinical Study Manager. Currently, they work at DTxPharma as a Principal Scientist and Scientist.

Michael Nelson attended UC San Diego from 1990 to 1995, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Animal Physiology & Neuroscience.
