Vivek Tyagi is an applied AI researcher with extensive experience in speech recognition, natural language processing, and transformer models. Currently working as a Principal Applied AI Research Scientist at Oracle, they focus on large language models and speech recognition systems. Previously, Vivek held key research and leadership roles at companies such as LinkedIn, American Express, and IBM Research, contributing significantly to R&D in machine learning and developing innovative AI solutions. Vivek has published around 30 papers and holds about 10 patents, earning recognition as an IEEE Senior Member and co-winner of the Elsevier Speech Communication journal Best Paper Award in 2009.
