Raffaella Gesuete

Raffaella Gesuete has worked in the field of science for over 15 years. Raffaella began their career in 2004 as a Post-Baccalaureate Researcher at the Mario Negri Institute for Pharmacological Research in Milan, Italy. In 2007, they became a Graduate Student Researcher at the same institute. In 2011, they moved to Oregon Health and Science University as a Post-doctoral Research Scientist. In 2018, they joined Vertex Pharmaceuticals as a Research Scientist and in 2020, they were promoted to Senior Scientist at DTx Pharma.

Raffaella Gesuete received their Master of Science in Pharmacological Biotechnology from the University of Studies of Milan in Milan, Italy from 1999 to 2004. Raffaella then went on to obtain a Post diploma Specialization Certificate in Pharmacological Research Specialist from the Mario Negri Institute for Pharmacological Research in Milan, Italy from 2004 to 2006. Lastly, they completed their Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the Mario Negri Institute for Pharmacological Research in Milan, Italy and Open University in the UK from 2007 to 2010.
