Essa Shaban

Essa Shaban is an experienced professional in the fields of ICT and engineering, currently serving as the Director of ICT Foundational Professional Services & Fulfillment at du since December 2020, having previously held the position of Manager - ICT Project Management. Prior to du, Essa worked at GE Aviation from March 2016 to December 2020, achieving significant cost reductions as a Senior Product Cost Manager and leading key engineering initiatives as an Advanced Lead Engineer. Earlier experience includes various roles at Emirates Global Aluminium from August 2010 to February 2016, where responsibilities spanned project controls and engineering management. Essa's educational background includes an Executive MBA from Georgetown University (2023-2025) and an LLM in International Business Law from Paris-Pantheon-Assas University (2023), complemented by additional leadership and engineering qualifications.
