Sherine Anwar has a rich work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Sherine is currently the Vice President of Products and Digital Transformation at du since October 2020. Prior to this, they held the position of Vice President B2B Marketing at du from January 2014 to October 2020. During their tenure, they successfully established the B2B business unit from scratch and achieved substantial growth in service revenue and margins.

Before joining du, Sherine founded and served as the CEO of Byan for Research and Consultancy from April 2013 to June 2018. Additionally, they worked at Vodafone in various roles, including Founder and CEO of Bladna Mobile (MVNO) from July 2011 to July 2013, Director of Corporate Strategy from April 2008 to June 2011, Senior Marketing Manager from March 2004 to March 2008, and Customer Operations Manager from February 2001 to March 2004.

Sherine also played a pioneering role in the establishment of Egypt's first B2B Internet Service Providers as the Founder and CEO of TheWayOut Internet Solutions from November 1996 to May 2001. Sherine introduced several innovative services and was the first to launch B2B broadband service in Egypt.

Their career began at ITWORX as a Software Engineer from February 1996 to November 1996.

Sherine Anwar holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from The American University in Cairo, which they completed from 1991 to 1996. Sherine later pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science from The American University in Cairo from 1998 to 2000. Sherine then went on to earn an MBA in Marketing from Georgia State University, graduating in the year 2004. In 2010, they obtained a Diploma in Business Administration with a focus on Mergers and Acquisitions from London Business School. Additionally, they completed the Executive Leadership Program in Business Administration and Management from INSEAD in 2015. Most recently, in 2021-2022, Sherine participated in the Executive Program focused on Technology at the University of California, Berkeley.
