Syed Salman Ali

Syed Salman Ali has a diverse range of work experience in various companies. Starting in 1999, they worked as an Audit Senior at PwC until 2003. Syed Salman then joined Faysal Bank Limited as a Resident Vice President (Finance), where they were responsible for preparing reports and processing payroll. In 2005, they became the Financial Reporting Manager at SUPERGAS (SHV Energy Pvt Ltd.), overseeing financial reporting. From 2011 to 2017, they held the position of Head of Tax at Telenor Pakistan, managing and supervising the taxation department. Currently, Syed Salman Ali is the Director of Revenue Accounting at du, a position they have held since October 2020. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Tax & Regulatory Accounting and the Director of Tax at du. Overall, Syed Salman Ali has built extensive expertise in finance, accounting, tax, and regulatory matters through their various roles.

Syed Salman Ali is an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England & Wales, where they studied Accounting, Tax, IFRS, and Financial Reporting. Syed Salman also holds a degree in Chartered Accountancy from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan, with a focus on Accounting, Finance, and Taxation. In addition to their academic qualifications, they have obtained certifications such as Introduction to Business Intelligence from Corporate Finance Institute, Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company (EITC): Harvard Leadership Accelerators Program from Harvard Business Publishing Corporate Learning, and Management Development Program from Lahore University of Management Sciences.
